According to the FanlessTech report from yesterday, Intel’s next-generation Jasper Lake series of ultra-low-power processors will build a new 10nm process with Tremont architecture will debut early 2021.
It’s not only a matter of time but also a question mark before you get the chance to get the most out of your computer.
In addition, by upgrading to the latest Tremont architecture, the series offers up to 30% improvement in processor IPC over the Gemini Lake processor family.
The report notes that the Jasper Lake Series desktop models will be limited to 10W TDP and will have a variety of Pentium and Celeron models, all with a base frequency of 2.0GHz, as follows:
- Pentium Silver N6005: 4-core, 4-threaded, all-core up to 3.3GHz, integrated UHD graphics, with 4MB L2 cache.
- Celeron N5105: 4-core, 4-threaded, 2.8 GHz, integrated UHD graphics, 4 MB L2 cache.
- Celeron N4505: 2 cores, 2 threads, full core 2.9 GHz, integrated UHD graphics, equipped with 4 MB L2 cache.
The mobile version has a TDP of only 6W and a base frequency of 1.1GHz, the specific models are as follows:
- Pentium Silver N6000: 4-core, 4-threaded, all-core up to 3.1GHz, integrated UHD graphics with 4M L2 cache.
- Celeron N5100: 4-core, 4-threaded, 2.8 GHz, integrated UHD graphics, 4M L2 cache.
- Celeron N4500: 2 cores, 2 threads, all cores 2.8 GHz, integrated UHD graphics, 4M L2 cache.
