Intel Core i3-13100 detected with no efficiency cores

A budget Intel Core i3-13100 quad-core, eight-threaded CPU has been spotted, but with no trace of the efficiency cores, which are called Gracemont. Furthermore, it does not feature the Raptor Cove cores, as it is an upgraded Alder Lake CPU.

Intel Core i3-13100 is detected with 4 cores and no efficient cores

This is one of the first hints we’ve found of the Core i3-13100 processor, which is the lowest-end of the Core ‘Raptor Lake’ series, even though it’s actually an Alder Lake.

The Core i3-13100 processor is a quad-core CPU with eight threads with no efficiency cores. This is the only processor in the series that has no efficiency cores, although it maintains HyperThreading to double the number of threads.

The chip is detected with a clock speed of 3415 MHz, which is a low clock speed because the boost clock is officially 4.3 GHz. We believe that the boost clock was not enabled and only used the base clock, which is officially 3.3 GHz. The motherboard used was the Gigabyte B660 Gaming X with DDR5-4800 memory.

By using an Alder Lake H0 die, it would basically be like a Core i3-12100, although this was not confirmed by Intel. Basically, aCore i3-13100 would be the same as ani3-12100, so if you’re thinking of buying a Core i3, there’s no need to wait for the Raptor Lake release.

The Core no-K processor series is expected to launch between the end of this year and early 2023. This launch would be accompanied by H770 and B760 motherboards.
