Intel B760 motherboards from Gigabyte and MSI have been photographed and show some models we haven’t seen before, with the exception of MSI’s Tomahawk model.
Intel B760: Pictures of motherboards from Gigabyte and MSI
The B760 motherboards will be able to accommodate Intel Core Alder Lake and Raptor Lake processors, making them more affordable options compared to the current Intel 700 products.
The B760 chipset is said to be a cheaper alternative to the Z790 and H770, which will be very beneficial for PC users who are planning to upgrade to Alder or Raptor Lake. However, you can also opt for the current B660 motherboards as the differences aren’t that noticeable.
Next, let’s take a look at which motherboards were photographed and shared.
GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4
One thing is clear, the new DS3H motherboard has not changed much since the B660 model. The design, power supply, audio subsystem, and even I/O configuration are the same as the B660 variant. However, there are changes in the printed samples.
GIGABYTE B760M GAMING X AX DDR4
In the case of the GIGABYTE GAMING X model, there are changes to the design, I/O packages, VRM, and chipset, although the component layout is similar to that of the B660M model.
MSI PRO B760M-A WIFI DDR4 + MSI PRO B760P WIFI DDR4
The PRO series can’t be overlooked and MSI seems to be giving it a darker look now, plus updated I/O. This model has DDR4 memory slots and up to 4 video outputs with 2X HDMI and 2X DisplayPort.
MSI B760 MAG TOMAHAWK DDR5
This model is equipped with DDR5 slots, unlike the previously pictured model with DDR4 slots.
These motherboards are expected to hit the market in January.
