New information about Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards has come to light and it’s not good news. According to a report from Enthusiastic Citizen, Intel’s graphics cards for the desktop market have been delayed.
Intel Arc Alchemist (A770, A750, A580, and A380) are reportedly delayed.
Intel previously launched the Arc Alchemist GPU series for notebooks last March, but its desktop graphics cards have yet to be unveiled. The A770 series is expected to lead the way.
Recently, we learned that the A770 graphics card was spotted in a Geekbench entry. This model has been identified with a speed of 2.4 GHz and a VRAM memory capacity of 12.7 GB.
According to the source, there is talk of a delayed launch, which could now happen at the end of June or in July. That is, between the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter.
The leak talks about four models that will go on sale at this time: A770, A750, A580, and A380. We can’t confirm if there will be any other models beyond that to compete in the high-end market. The performance of the A770 would be comparable to that of an RTX 3060 Ti with about 16 GB of VRAM.
According to Enthusiastic Citizen, there is the A750 graphics card, which has 448 execution units and a capacity of 8 GB GDDR6. The A580 model also has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. We’ll know more about the launch of the Arc ‘Alchemist’ graphics cards in a few weeks.
