Intel Arc A750 is 17% better than RTX 3060

Intel has revealed the expected performance of the Arc A750 graphics card, which will aim to seduce mid-range gamers. Ryan Shrout (Intel graphics marketing) unveils the Arc A750 discrete GPU, which looks to compete with Nvidia’s RTX 3060.

Intel Arc A750 will compete with the GeForce RTX 3060

The Arc A750 desktop graphics card officially shows off its performance, with Intel releasing performance tests on five games.

Intel has decided to compare its Arc A750 graphics card against Nvidia’s RTX 3060, which is one of the most sought-after cards for mid-range gamers.

The A750 desktop graphics card uses the ACM-G10 chip, which has 24 Xe-Core units and a memory capacity of 12GB GDDR6. Power consumption would be over 225W, as it uses 8-pin and 6-pin connectors.

“The performance results shown here are from a small subset of games, which run very well on Intel Arc and the Alchemist architecture. I’m not claiming that ALL GAMES will show these results, but it’s a glimpse of what Intel Arc A-series cards are capable of with the right software and engineering enablement.”

In the five games tested, the Intel Arc A750 graphics card is 17% superior to Nvidia’s RTX 3060 at a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The games tested were F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands, and Fortnite.

So far, we’ve only seen Intel’s reference models, but custom models are expected to be ready at launch in the coming months. Intel has not confirmed a release date or price. We’ll keep you posted.
