Thanks to Videocardz we have the first images of the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming from GIGABYTE. That is a custom graphics card that will mount a GP102 graphic core slightly trimmed to mark some differences with the full version using the NVIDIA GTX 1080.
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming Specifications
As we have said on previous occasions the GTX 1070 TI will have the following specifications:
- 2,432 shaders.
- 156 texture units.
- 64 raster units.
- 256-bit bus.
- 8 GB of GDDR5 memory at 8 GHz.
- Frequencies of 1,607 MHz-1,683 MHz, normal and turbo mode.
TDP of 180 watts.
We do not know the working speeds of the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming. But the fact that it does not carry the distinctive “OC” in the name suggests that it could come at the reference speeds we have just given.
If it is confirmed its performance should be between 10% and 15% lower than that of a GTX 1080. Although there may be specific games in which that difference is more or less accused.

As for the quality of construction of the card we have a ventilation system WindForce 3X. That integrates three large fans located on a long aluminum radiator, occupying in total two expansion slots.
The rear area is protected with a metal plate that, besides providing a solidity to the card, helps to dissipate the heat. We can also see the “Fan Stop” logo indicating that the fans will be off until temperatures exceed a certain threshold, as well as an 8-pin power connector.
We do not have details about the price of the card, but we imagine it will be officially announced on October 26th.
