Corsair offers early access to its latest software evolution to control its iCUE peripherals. It is an essential transformation with the union of the CUE and the Corsair Link at stake.
The iCUE promises at the heart of a single interface to bring together the entire Corsair range of compatible products such as keyboards, fans, mice, headsets, memory, water coolers and power supplies.
iCUE and Far Cry 5, Corsair launches its new unified software interface
The utility instantly synchronizes the RGB lighting of all its peripherals, monitors the performance of its PC and takes control of the fans or pump of a Watercooling AIO. On the RGB aspect, dozens of presets are available, and customization is on the program.
The manufacturer goes even further. A partnership with Ubisoft brings 30 automatic lighting effects synchronized with Far Cry 5 game actions. On this point Corsair specifies
“Each effect has been code-developed with a high level of integration to offer players an even more immersive dive into the Hope County universe. Whether you are exploring, protecting your life or looking at the world, the lighting of your entire CORSAIR configuration will dynamically reflect your actions in the game.
iCUE, from monitoring to RGB synchronization and customization
For hardware, the iCUE offers control options with macros and key reassignments. This concerns compatible keyboards and mice.
On the Monitoring side, this dashboard provides an overview of the system. Options are available to program lighting and ventilation speed profiles according to different criteria. This ranges from temperatures to specific software. It is explained as follows:
“This increases cooling power for demanding games, turns off fans to watch a movie quietly or lights up their system with warm colors when the temperature is high.
The Corsair iCUE is available in advance for the release of Far Cry 5. Note that title is offered for any purchase over $150 on eligible RGB products of the brand.
As part of an Early Access release, the application is a beta version. It is therefore strongly recommended to back up your system and data before installing it.
