Huawei is preparing to launch the P20 series next week and, according to information from China, is also preparing to launch its first smartphone with 512GB of storage.
It is not clear whether it will be a version of the P20 phones or a completely new device.
At the Chinese TENAA certification authority, a phone with model number NEO-AL00 has appeared with the indication “6GB RAM + 512 GB ROM” in the memory section. Subsequently, this section has been removed at Huawei’s request, raising suspicions that it is true.
Huawei does not manufacture storage for mobile devices. So either this new smartphone uses Samsung’s newly announced module or is developing these manufacturing capabilities.
There are currently two models of Huawei smartphones that use 256GB of storage. Also, the Mate9 Porsche Design and Mate10 Porsche Design – so maybe it’s a new Porsche Edition model.
