Honor V30 may be the first flagship with a scanner under the LCD screen

The Indian insider Sudhanshu Ambhore has published some new information about the next flagship of honor on his Twitter page.

We have already published a photo of the Honor V30 screen, which has a double front camera in the oval screen section. In general, we’ve seen such a solution in the Samsung Galaxy S10+ before, but the Samsung neckline is on the flagship in the upper right corner of the screen.

The screen was photographed in the factory of our partner Huawei and Honor, which supplies displays for Honor V30. This is exactly the point that causes controversy among insiders. Some people are sure that it is the AMOLED panel manufactured by BOE, while others believe that the smartphone will have an IPS-type LCD screen.

Honor V30 could be the first flagship with a scanner under the LCD screen.
In the second case, a fingerprint sensor can be built into the back or side of the smartphone, although Huawei showed a working prototype of the LCD screen with a built-in fingerprint sensor in August, promising that the finished solutions will go into production in the fourth quarter. At the same time, it was mentioned that BOE is working on such LCD screens.

According to preliminary data, Honor V30 will support a single-core Kirin 990 system, 5G and the smartphone will be released later this year.
