HANNspree has introduced its new HQ272PQD PC monitor, which offers a Quantum Dot HS-IPS monitor with 1440p resolution in a 27-inch size. With this panel, the HQ272PQD offers 116% of the Adobe RGB color space, 110% NTSC and 156% HDTV BR.709 and offers end users a great viewing experience, especially for professional and semi-professional users of design and editing.
The 27-inch 1440p panel can be considered “affordable” compared to other Quantum Dot Monitor offerings, although it should be noted that this display is not compatible with technologies such as HDR and FreeSync commonly used in video games, and also uses a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Unlike other affordable 1440p displays, the HANNspree HQ272PQD offers VESA and monitor arms, a feature often missing from low-cost monitors, making it ideal for multi-monitor configurations with third-party support.
For connectivity, it supports both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and provides two HDMI 1.4 ports, a DisplayPort connector, and a Mini-DisplayPort input. The monitor also has 2W dual speakers, although it is recommended that you use this screen with an external audio configuration or headset.
