The graphics card manufacturer Zotac has announced the launch of its new model Geforce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme.
That is just the small the performance update of its previous AMP model. The truth is that the manufacturer is not even very explicit in the details of this new graphics card, but in view of the processing power it offers a great experience by overclocking.
GTX 1080 Ti AMP body is composed of aluminum fins that has a width of less than three spaces. So the configurations in SLI are quiet easy. One needs not to worry about the cable lengths and connectors. Talking about the advantages of this new product its heatsink uses five copper heat pipes, which are responsible for transferring heat from the graphic core chip to the aluminum fins. The dimensions of the fan are 92 mm in diameter.
GTX 1080 Ti AMP Detailed Specifications
A printed circuit board different from Nvidia is also designed. This equips with it with 16 + 2-phase VRMs and Power Boost 2.0 solid capacitors that are more capable of delivering a steady flow of Current to the graphic core. These functions are available on overclocking mode. There are two connectors of 8 pins to get to work. And its power consumption is estimated at 250 W. So for using this card it is recommended to use a power supply of 600 W or higher.
Speaking of the graphic core, we would say that Zotac is not too explicit in the base frequencies. But this gives us to think that they are probably doing a rather exhaustive binary process of GP102 cores that have received Nvidia chip to see how far they are able to endure for daily use.
Another thing to note is the video outputs. So far now the reference model of Nvidia lacks DVI-D output. But the GTX 1080 Ti AMP again bets on including one of these, while also maintaining both the three outputs DisplayPort 1.4a and Solid HDMI 2.0
