A Reddit user has published information on various features of GTA VI, including the possible publication date.
With the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, last fall and the arrival of Scarlett next year, rumors of a GTA VI are more than normal. After rumors circulated about an adventure in Vice City and South America in the 1970s and 1980s, a new post on Reddit presents slightly different information.
However, he says that the public should expect an announcement by autumn 2020. However, since they have not revealed their sources, this information should be considered retrospectively.
The map, buildings, and activities
According to the user, the adventure would take place in two large cities, San Fierro and Las Venturas, which will be urban areas with a map four times larger than that of GTA V.
This would include classic elements of a Grand Theft Auto map such as police stations, gas stations, the amusement park and the return of some unique elements such as Area 51 or the dam. A zoo and a shopping center would also be part of the project. In his words, the user drew a sketch of this new map “from memory”.
A small peculiarity of the firearms stores, which are divided into two categories. Legal stores would allow players to buy conventional weapons (pistols, rifles, snipers, etc.), while underground markets would allow them to buy weapons such as rocket launchers.

The Post Reddit reveals relatively little information about the protagonists, but nevertheless notes that there would be two heroes, a man, and a woman. The Reddit user says that he has seen a pretty active life with NPCs at funerals, a family camping, a dog running away and similar events.
