Supposedly it’s an Easter egg, which points to one of the “GTA 6” locations.
Although Rockstar has not lost a word about a successor to “GTA 5” yet, there are already numerous theories and speculations circulating on the Internet about the status of the successor.
Supposedly there will be several big cities in “GTA 6”, among which the player can come and go. These include Liberty City and Vice City, which GTA veterans may already know. The map will be bigger than ever in a GTA branch. It is also believed that there will be a female protagonist for the first time in the history of the series.
But as Reddit user ZacCoxTV writes in another thread, South America is used in “GTA 6” plus as tropical island Guarma’s “Red Dead Redemption 2” for a few story missions. According to him, however, the rock star will not allow the actual location of the title to take place in South America, where most people don’t speak English. With the exception of “Grand Theft Auto: London”, the series has been played exclusively in the United States until now. Locations were always based on real cities.

Only recently the well-known Leaker and Dataminer TezFunz2 had found a code in the Red Dead 2 game files that alludes to a so-called “Americas Project”. In a report in The Know several years ago, based on an internal Rockstar source, it was suggested that “GTA 6” was internally called “Project Americas” in Rockstar.
The entry “MISC AMERICAS SCRIPT STATS” was found in the RDR2 files and later changed from Rockstar to “MISC SCRIPT STATS” for unknown reasons. Why should the developer change the name if it no longer makes sense? The studio has a habit of incorporating code from previous games into their current titles. There was a similar case with “Max Payne 3” at the time, where a complete list of “GTA 5” vehicles appeared in the game files, which later turned out to be real.
Although the use of this code name in the RDR2 files does not yet confirm anything, it is very interesting that Rockstar used this term in its western title.
Ultimately, there is no official information about “GTA 6”, but numerous hints now suggest that the developer has been working on the Open World title for quite some time. This includes, among other things, job offers to point to an unannounced AAA title being developed by Rockstar.
As for the game, players expect to enjoy an open world, with an interactive and fully connected environment. In addition, they would also like to redesign the animations to make the experience more fluid and realistic.
