Google Duo, which is Google’s video chat application for end users is slowly starting to deploy the new multi-device support to its users, meaning that users will be able to use Duo on more than one device simultaneously.
To do this, you will need to link your Duo account, which is based on your phone number with your Google Account to enable this feature. And best of all, Google Duo is also receiving official support for Android tablets, so users can now install Google Duo on their Android tablets from the Google Play Store instead of having to manually install them based on the application’s APK.
Interestingly, Google Duo will know which is the primary device and which is the secondary device, although when a call is received, it will ring on both. In this regard, the primary device will only offer the option to delete the account, while the secondary device will offer the ability to log out and log in with another phone number.
So far, the deployment of support for multiple devices has not been officially announced, although there are already users who can take advantage of it. In any case, it is expected that this new feature will be available to all users in the coming days. A message will alert users that they will be able to use multiple devices once they reach their Duo accounts.
