Google Chrome for Android implements an interesting option in some countries with connectivity problems, either because it is irregular or non-existent in some areas.
The new dynamic proposed by Chrome is to automatically download news articles that may be relevant to the user, while connected to WiFi, so that he can read them offline.
So, when it detects that you are connected to a free, stable WiFi, Chrome will start downloading content that is popular in that location.
And if you’re using your browser with your Google Account, you can also base this dynamic on your browsing history. In this way, the user could be up to date with the news or content published by their favorite websites, without the need for the Internet.
All these downloads will appear in the same section where the downloads that the user requests are saved manually, as shown in the image above. The user will be able to consult it at any time of the day or delete them if they are not interested.
Of course, it will be an option that the user can disable if he or she is not interested in the dynamic that it proposes. As the Google team says, this new option will be implemented in more than 100 countries, including Brazil, India, Nigeria and Indonesia.
