We were constantly alert to this new trend throughout the summer and it is now time to make it a reality. From today Chrome has a new, more modern, simpler and more functional look. And it is no coincidence since today the entry of visual innovations and other capabilities through a new update is in line with the browser’s tenth anniversary.
This is why it is not just another update, but rather an update called a “birthday update”. From Google, they did not want to miss the opportunity to review the entire development of the Internet over the years and the recent changes “under the hood” which the browser has received over the year, during which many of them have already been discussed.
When users upgrade the Chrome on their computers and devices to the latest version, they will experience a substantial change both on the desktop and on mobile devices.
In general, we will now see rounded tabs, improved icons and a new color palette, and other changes, including moving the toolbar down in iOS for easier access, just like we’re used to from other mobile applications. In addition, Chrome will now fill out the information in the forms more accurately, with an improved password manager that provides the ability to create new, more secure passwords in addition to the current passwords.
From the Omnibox bar, I notice that now the results of all kinds of searches are offered directly, without having to open new tabs, although it is also noticeable that we can search if a URL is already open in a tab, especially in cases where we have opened several tabs. We will soon be able to search for files on Google Drive directly from the omnibox.
Lastly, we can now create and manage links directly on the new Links tab, where we can also place the image background of our choice. There is no longer any need to add page extensions for new tabs to customize pages.
Therefore, all we need to do now is to update the new version and enjoy a better surfing experience.
