Google Chrome has made many changes to its user interface over the past month to celebrate its tenth anniversary. The Redmond giant hasn’t rested on its laurels, and other changes are in the pipeline. Chrome is currently running UI tests called Explore. This can be activated via the flag.
On its tenth birthday, Chrome received a redesigned user interface. Much has changed in the program, and in the meantime, Google is testing other new features. This time it’s a user interface called Explore. This is the place where the application offers sites that are worth a visit.
Explore is initially connected to the Indian market, where functional tests are likely to be conducted. In a special window, Chrome displays thematically grouped pages that you can visit. On the home page of the browser, there are three thumbnails and a button that gives you access to other categories.
If you want to enable Explore in Chrome, go to the chrome://flags section. Then search for the term “Explorer” then select the Search Websites checkbox to Enabled. After restarting the browser, a new section will appear under the search bar. At the moment, as we have already mentioned, only Indian parties are proposed, but with time it should also be those from other regions.
