Nvidia is currently updating its GeForce Now service, which now adds a great feature called Game Sync. Instead of browsing game categories in the main menu or typing game titles in the search bar, GeForce Now users can sync their Steam library with their account. Games automatically appear in My Library, making them easily accessible and eliminating the steps a player would have to take to find compatible games.
With GeForce Now, you can ‘sync’ your Steam library
GeForce Now is a cloud-based gaming service that eliminates the need to buy games through your platform to play them. It works with games you have already purchased from Steam, Tepic, Uplay, etc., unlike Google Stadia, which requires its users to purchase a copy of the game separately in order to play it on its platform.
A long, long time ago, when GeForce Now was still in beta, Nvidia had a complete list of games compatible with its service available on its website. However, after the cloud streaming platform was officially launched, this list disappeared and users had to browse through categories or enter game titles into the search bar to see if a game they owned was compatible with GeForce Now. Now it’s easier to link your Steam account.
To synchronize your Steam library with the GeForce Now library, go to Application Options. You will see that Game Sync appears mostly on the right side. Click the “link” icon, log in to your Steam account to access GeForce Now, and after about a minute your library will be synchronized. You may need to restart the application.
Nvidia took advantage of this announcement and also announced the inclusion of 11 new compatible titles.
