GeForce NOW adds 5 new games and an “RTX 3080” subscription

GeForce NOW adds five new games to its service, including Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Riders Republic. The GeForce Now RTX 3080 subscription is available in limited quantities, though Nvidia hasn’t announced what the maximum number of subscriptions may be. This subscription costs €89.89 for six months for new users.

GeForce Now currently has references to over 1100 games on its platform, with the following games being added, with the inclusion of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy possibly being the most significant acquisition.

  • Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Steam and Epic Games Store).
  • Riders Republic (Ubisoft Connect)
  • Alan Wake Remastered (Epic Games Store)
  • Hide and Scream (Steam)
  • Paradise Killer (Steam)

In addition to this announcement, Nvidia is opening up pre-ordering of the GeForce NOW RTX 3080 subscription, which was only available to Founders and Priority accounts, to the public. This new subscription offers a number of improvements, including the ability to play at 1144p resolution and 120 FPS on PC, 4K HDR gaming on SHIELD TV, and other benefits, which you can read about here.

The subscription plan also increases session duration, allowing gamers to play through the service for up to eight hours at a time.

Founding members also receive a 10% discount on the subscription price. If they decide to return to their original Founders plan, they keep the Founders for Life price.

As a reminder, GeForce NOW is available for PCs, Macs, Android devices, Nvidia SHIELD, Chromebook, and iOS, and allows you to play a wide range of games from the Steam or Epic Games Store catalog.
