As stated on the project’s Kickstarter page, one of the primary goals of Gamebuino META is to make learning programming fun. To do this, they have created a retro console that will allow us to play all games that we liked small in a portable format. Specifically, the device has a 1.8-inch display, a 900mAh battery capable of up to a day’s autonomy and microSD card slot.

Progate, an excellent project to learn how to program

But how can a console help us learn to program? Gamebuino META is an open-source project based on Arduino with which we will learn C and C ++. The idea is that we can learn the concepts of programming while we create our games. Specifically, users will start with PONG. Also, one of the classics in the history of video games. Undoubtedly, this is an approach of the most interesting.

At this point, it is important to remember that this is a crowdfunding campaign. So, it will be necessary to wait to know if its creators collect the amount required. Even so, with two months to close the campaign have already managed to raise about half of the total. Gamebuino META will sell for $ 99 starting in February.
