Gainward today also presented its two models of GTX 1070 Ti that launches to the market. Firstly, it has introduced its standard model, which does not equip a turbine, as usual, to resemble the reference model and replaced with a double fan heatsink that measures precisely 252 x 112mm to occupy only two slots.

The second model presented is the new GTX 1070 Ti Phoenix, larger with 285 x 133mm, with a radiator with triple heat pipe and fans with more fins for higher performance. This model as an add-on features a dual BIOS and improved power over the reference model with an 8 + 2-phase design.

Underneath the hood, the Phoenix version also gets an upgraded 8-phase VRM using Driver MOSFETs. This creates a more efficient layout while providing a more efficient power supply to the GPU. The GTX 1070 Ti Phoenix also has dual-BIOS so users can overclock to their heart’s content using GAINWARD’s Expert-Tool II software and revert back when needed.
Both new models begin with the same frequencies of 1608Mhz of Base and 1683 Mhz in mode Boost, being available from 2 of November.
