Frontiers of Pandora to be exclusive to Ubisoft Connect

Frontiers of Pandora to be exclusive to Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft’s approach to PC releases has generated annoyance among gamers, choosing not to release its titles on Steam and instead offering them exclusively on the Epic Games Store and its own launcher, Ubisoft Connect. However, it has been noted that its next two major releases will further intensify these restrictions.

Star Wars: Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment, has been announced as an Ubisoft Connect exclusive for PC. There is no mention of Epic Games Store or Steam as target platforms on the game’s official website.

Interestingly, the same goes for the upcoming open-world action-adventure game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, developed by Massive Entertainment, as only Ubisoft Connect for PC is mentioned on its official website.

It remains to be seen if the decision not to release PC games on the Epic Games Store is a new policy adopted by Ubisoft in the future. However, it is curious that the Assassin’s Creed Mirage page explicitly mentions the Epic Games Store, as does The Crew Motorfest page.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will see its release on December 7 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. On the other hand, Star Wars Outlaws will arrive on those same platforms sometime in 2024.
