The first E3 2018 conference is over. Here is an overview of all the announcements and trailers we saw on EA Play.

Battlefield V

The title, which could not have been missed at the conference of Electronics. Battlefield V’s next installment has already been released, but during the E3 we’ve learned more about multiplayer mode. Of the most interesting things, the most noteworthy are… the introduction of the battle royale mode. Although we did not see it in the action, the creators predict that it will be adapted to the specifics of the series – this means, among other things, the presence of destructible buildings and vehicles. The lack of loot boxes and microtransactions has been confirmed once on stage, while at the same time reminding the players that they will have a great opportunity to customize their characters. What about the campaign? We have to learn more at Microsoft, but during the conference, we also presented a short preview – much heavier, darker, and “real” than we saw before.

FIFA 19

A year without another edition of FIFA series is a lost year. Step by step, the world’s most popular digger is getting better and better (or worse, depending on the perspective), and this year we can expect at least some significant changes. We have heard about the parts before and they will concern the new leagues within the game. The most important new licenses are, of course, the Champions League and the European League, which will be implemented not only in “regular” playing but also in the Ultimate Team. We also learned that the feature mode with Alex Hunteer is back in the lead role. In addition, it was announced that FIFA 18 will be free for some time. You can download the game for free via this link.

Origin Access Premier

A new version of the service has also been announced for the future… including the latest games. This summer’s premiere, and in the near future, thanks to the subscription, we will gain access to games such as Anthem, FIFA 19, Battlefield V or even Madden 19. In some cases, even before their official debut!

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Respawn Entertainment, the creators of Titanfall, are working on another game, this time in the universe of Star Wars. Vince Zampella briefly talked about the title from the audience, although we didn’t see the game. The action of the game is to take place between Episode III and Episode IV and focus on the theme of hunting the last Jedi Knights. The premiere is scheduled for the end of 2019. We’ve heard a bit more about Battlefront 2, after the presentation you can see that EA after the initial problems with the game pulls it straight – new modes were promised in the near future (both for the ships and for the characters themselves), but most importantly… the creators are also preparing the content referring to the wars of Clones. The game will feature a map of Geonosis, General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenoba, Count Dook and Anakin Skywalker.

Unravel Two

The first of the “turkeys” that was shown at the conference. The second heat of the adopted platformer is to be very different from the original. The biggest change… is the presence of two heroes. Regardless of whether we are playing alone or in a co-op, there will be two characters on the screen who have to work closely together to avoid dangers and to get to the next places. The graphic design resembles what we saw in the “one”, but in terms of gameplay – in fact, we are preparing a small revolution. The first impression? Something like a great Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Interestingly, the game is already complete and everyone can download it today.

Sea of Solitude

And the second of the “smaller” games. The production created by the German studio is supposed to focus on the difficult subject of loneliness and what it does with people. Heavy, slightly depressing production with a deeper message promises. In her, we will guide a young woman who, because of her isolation, is slowly turning… into a monster. Intrigued? See how it looks in action. The premiere took place in early 2019.

NBA Live 19

We haven’t learned anything concrete here except that EA is preparing the next installment of the series. She has been losing for years in direct competition with the 2K series and, to tell the truth, I don’t know if it will be the same this year…

Maddenne NFL 19

American football in our corner of the world is not too popular, but fans of this sport should certainly keep an eye on it. Especially that for the first time in probably a decade it will be available not only on consoles but also on PCs!

Anthem

A game we haven’t heard of for a long time. The first presentation made a big impression on many, but the initial hype was slowly fading… largely due to reports of production problems and delayed release. During the conference, we finally saw a little more. What you need to know is that the game will be divided into two main parts. The first one, taking place in our base, will be focused on the plot and experience for a single player. This part of the world exists only for us. However, when we decide to go on a mission outdoors, we enter the so-called shared world, a purely online section in which, however, we can also play alone if we feel like it.

Everything that happens outside is common for all players. During the panel, we also learned that there will be a total of four class armor available in the game, which we will be able to change freely between missions. Each of them will have its own specialization and will provide access to a slightly different style of playing. Ranger is a typical “universal soldier”, Colossus is a classic tank, Interceptor promises to be a high-speed class, and Storm, in turn, is something like a techno-magic. At the end of the presentation, a specific date of the premiere was revealed – Anthem will make its debut on 22 February 2019.
