Firefox gets a new feature called WebRender. This will use your graphics card to render web pages rather than just your processor. And Mozilla has already enabled this feature in the nightly review versions. The stable version of Firefox WebRender will be introduced in a few months.

It is expected that Firefox will display the pages much better in the near future. It will be made possible by a new feature called WebRender. Owing to it the performance of the graphics cards is used to represent a page. To date, the new feature has been implemented in Nightly edition of the browser.

By default, Firefox Nightly with WebRender works on Windows 10 devices with Nvidia graphics cards. The function can also be activated on devices with different configurations, which you can do in the settings. It is unfortunate that support for Android is not available for the time being, although it will be over time.

Are you wondering how exactly this will turn into an advantage when rendering pages? The difference turns out to be visible to the naked eye. In this way, you get a smooth visual experience at 60 fps. Just see the following examples on the video:

So Mozilla wants to make this an integral part of Firefox. But this won’t happen this year, but in the next year, in the beginning, we hope that we will have this feature for both desktop and Android devices.
