Amazon has introduced its new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition tablet, aimed at the youngest members of the household.
Amazon points out that the development (from scratch) of this tablet model has been based on three main ideas: that children want a real tablet and not a toy, that parents don’t have to worry about what their children see, and that the tablets are child-proof (resistant to possible knocks), for which they come with a blue, pink or yellow case, to choose from, plus a two-year warranty.
In this sense, the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition includes a year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, with a universe of content suitable for children, as well as a series of tools for parents to establish a series of usage guidelines.
Amazon points out that its new model for children features a FullHD screen of 10 ″, an ultra-fast processor, 32 GB of expandable storage up to 256 GB using microSD cards, and a battery capable of providing up to ten hours of operation.
The new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is now available for pre-order at a price starting at $199.99, with shipping scheduled to begin on July 11. In addition, there is a limited offer for those who want to purchase two units of Fire HD 10 Kids Edition.
