The upcoming EVGA Z390 DARK was designed from the ground up to be the best overclocking motherboard in the world. EVGA boasts about it and gives you a reason to believe it.
New World Record in Cinebench with 8-Core Processor
The EVGA Z390 DARK motherboard was recently used by the Finnish overclocker Juhani Luumi alias LUUMI to set a new world record with an 8-core CPU in Cinebench. Equipped with an Intel Core i9-9900K under liquid nitrogen and an EVGA Z390 DARK motherboard, LUUMI could reach almost 7 GHz. At this frequency, the processor received about 3142 CB Score. This is a new world record for an 8-core CPU in Cinebench.
EVGA Z390 DARK is one of the world’s most advanced motherboards based on Intel Z390. It is designed for performance enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their new ninth-generation Intel 8-core CPUs.
The Z390 DARK features a 17-phase VRM design and two 8-pin right-angle connectors for maximum overclocking performance. Two SMT DIMMs provide high-frequency overclocking and low RAM latency. The 10-layer PCB is equipped with multiple sensors that can be displayed on two LED displays. The board also includes Creative Audio with EVGA NU audio, two Intel Gigabit NICs, mini display port, integrated Power/Reset/CMOS buttons, three BIOS support, and eight intelligent fan heads.
Finally, EVGA has paid particular attention to the BIOS, which is equipped with the new UEFI/BIOS GUI from EVGA, which focuses on overclocking and functionality with new features such as OC Robot and In-BIOS Stress Testing.
We still don’t know when this motherboard will finally be released and at what price.
