The EVGA Super G7 1000 is the world’s most compact 1000W power supply, an ideal product for users looking for a very high-performance PC and the most compact design possible.
The new EVGA Super G7 1000 offers 1000W output power in a length of only 125mm, a size that is common on 400-600W models, demonstrating the brand’s great engineering work. This is a PSU that is 17% more compact than the SuperNova 1000 G3, which has been made possible by a special PCB design, in which some parts are placed as perpendicular secondary plates, which saves a lot of space.
Under the hood hides a single-rail + 12V design, DC-DC switching, 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, electrical protections and complete modular cabling. It measures 150 mm x 86 mm x 125 mm and uses a 120 mm fan to keep cool. EVGA plans to launch it sometime in September 2018.
Along with it, new models have been announced such as the EVGA SuperNova 2200W P2 with a rating of 80 Plus Platinum, and a slightly cheaper line of high power units, which have a rating of 80 Plus Gold, but with all the features of the P2 series models. Within this new series are the EVGA SuperNova 850W G+ and SuperNova 2000W G+, both with +12V single rail designs, DC to DC switching, large 135mm cooling fans and the most common electrical protections.
EVGA SuperNova 850W G+ offers support for up to four graphics cards using eight 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. EVGA expects to launch them within Q3-2018.
