EVGA has just released a new range of 80 PLUS Bronze certified PC power supplies. There are four models available in the new EVGA BR Series, which adapt to the needs of any user.
EVGA announces 4 models of its new BR series
The models in question are EVGA 450 BR, 500 BR, 600 BR and 700 BR. Prices range from 49.99 to 74.99 for what appear to be the company’s new entry-level power supplies.
As we can see, the power supplies that are being sold from the low range of the main manufacturers are already certified,’at least’ with 80 PLUS Bronze. This is very good news, as it ensures power supplies with a minimum quality of materials and sufficient power to assemble a good configuration.
Attractive details of these new power supplies include the use of a silent fan with a long life 120mm coated fan casing, increased voltage stability of 3.3V/5V thanks to the EVGA DC to DC converter and a 3-year warranty and EVGA support. EVGA’s BR 80 PLUS Bronze Series power supplies offer 85% or higher energy efficiency under load. As an economical range, it would be correct to expect a non-modular design. However, EVGA says that instead, you can enjoy the view of all its black full-sleeve cables “for that high-end aesthetic”, we can’t expect much given the price.
