EVGA announces its new GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent

EVGA has introduced a new graphics card based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. That focuses on silent operation with a two and a half slot heatsink design. The GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent is very similar to the latest FTW models, but the radiator is much higher than usual, so its dissipation capacity has so far increased while maintaining the two original 100mm fans.

Regarding frequencies, the new model conserves the reference clocks with 1607 Mhz of a base and 1683 Mhz Boost. However, the feeding system approaches 10 + 2 phases against the 5 + 2 stages of the reference PCB. Also, the model is unique for overclocking as demonstrated by its two 8-pin PCIe connectors.

1607/1683 MHz coupled to 8 GB of GDDR5 @ 8.00 GHz memory with a TDP of 180W using two PCI-Express connectors of 8 + 8 pins promising high doses of overclocking as soon as it is connected to the equipment.

Regarding video outputs, the card has a DVI-D, three Display Port, and an HDMI for the reference outputs. This new model can be purchased today for $ 499.99 from the EVGA website. That price is quite similar to the FTW 2 model that incorporates the manufacturer’s iCX dissipation.
