Dell Precision 3430 and 3630, new workstations with Nvidia Quadro and Radeon Pro

Dell has announced its new range of Dell Precision 3000 entry-level workstations, all designed to deliver powerful performance in a small space. We tell you all its most important features in this post.

New Dell Precision 3000 workstation family of equipment

The new Dell Precision 3430 is 40% smaller than its competitors in an eight-liter body. The user can configure it with an Intel Core i7 or eighth generation Xeon E processor and with Nvidia Quadro P1000 or AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100 graphics. Its four DIMM slots allow you to mount up to 64GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory and up to 2TB of SSD storage.

The Precision 3630 comes in a 20-liter chassis and is 23% smaller than the Precision 3620. It also supports Coffee Lake Xeon E processors and up to an unlocked Core i7-8700K for overclocking. Graphics range from a Nvidia Quadro P4000 to AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100. There is also a consumer version equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 580, cards more focused on video games.

Finally, there is the Precision 3930 Rack Precision, which is designed to offer high expandability and supports up to 24TB of storage. It also comes with processors from the Coffee Lake family and Nvidia Quadro P6000 graphics.

Dell Precision 3430 is available starting at $649, with the 3630 starting at $749 and the Precision 3930 Rack available July 26th starting at $899. You can leave a comment with your impressions.
