The editor of the PC version of Death Stranding, 505 Games recently confirmed that Death Stranding will be released simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Death Stranding will be released simultaneously on Steam and Epic Games Store, there will be no exclusivity on PCs.
Death Stranding was released on PlayStation 4 on November 8 with mixed reviews, mainly due to the atypical gameplay and storyline of the game. The PC version of the game will be released in early summer 2020, and 505 games will choose not to participate in the exclusivity of the Epic Games Store, as they did at Control.
505 Games had already signed an exclusive agreement with Epic Games Store for their video game Control, but with Death Stranding, they decided that the best part is that the game would appear in Epic and Steam at the same time.
It is currently possible to pre-sell Death Stranding at both the Steam and Epic Games stores. At this point, the game hasn’t been released to another PC store yet. Unfortunately, this means that there is probably no GOG version of Death Stranding, at least not in the version.
On the PC, Death Stranding costs 59,99/£54,99/€59,99. At this point, the game has no confirmed system requirements on the PC.
The video game debuted on November 8 on PlayStation 4 with mixed reviews from the trade press and many controversies about its playability. PC gamers will have to wait until summer 2020 to play the latest work by Hideo Kojima who invented the legendary Metal Gear saga.
