ADATA innovates its new range DDR4 XPG Spectrix D80. These modules have the particularity of being equipped with a hybrid and autonomous cooling system. This is a world first.
DDR4 XPG Spectrix D80, RGB, Air cooling and Water cooling!
This DDR4 XPG Spectrix D80 module ensures its cooling thanks to an aluminum heat sink sandwiching its PCB. If this scheme is quite classic, ADATA goes further by adding on top a transparent module or coolant is present. It runs the entire length of the barrette while the RGB ensures its forward positioning. This last is customizable in effects, color, and intensity through an application under Windows.

ADATA addresses with this XPG SPECTRIX D80 to the amateurs of optimization, to the players or the overclocker. The range offers many frequencies (2666 to 5000 MHz) and targets AMD’s Intel X299 or AM4 (Ryzen) platforms. XMP 2.0 (Extreme Memory Profile) support simplifies BIOS setup. Finally, each module is equipped with hand-picked memory chips and comes with a 10-layer PCB.
This announcement allows ADATA to pass the case of the prototype presented at CES 2018. This XPG SPECTRIX D80 is now operational for marketing. Unfortunately, several pieces of information are missing. We have no availability date.
