Corsair has quietly released a new range of SSDs to its product listing. These are the new Neutron NX500, a range of NVD SSDs with a great capacity of 400GB and 800GB in their available models. The SSD has a dissipator that covers not only the NAND memories but also has the controller Phison PS5007-E7 that comes with these units.
Corsair Neutron NX500 MLC memory
Interestingly many new units present more density in the same space. These new Corsair SSDs have MLC memory instead of 3D TLC. Perhaps this is why its performance is so high. Because it has 3000 MB/s of reading and 2400 MB/s of sequential writing. It has 300,000 IOPS in reading and 270,000 IOPS in writing.
