While we already knew that AMD and Intel would be at CES 2022, both companies have announced the exact dates and times of their presentations, so now we know when we will hear all the news from both companies.
While both conferences will be held on June 4, AMD will be the first of these two companies to hold their conference. The Reds will unveil their 2022 plans on January 4 at 12 noon Argentina time, possibly with the new Ryzen 6000 for notebooks and perhaps the new Zen 3D-based Ryzen 5000 for desktops. There’s also a possibility that the new Radeon RX 6500 XT will be on display, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
As for the Blues, according to the event’s official schedule, Intel will hold its keynote a few hours after AMD’s, on January 4 at 3 p.m. The main protagonists of the conference will definitely be the 12th generation Core mobile processor Alder Lake-P, while the non-K series of the 12th generation desktop processor Alder Lake-S will also be on stage together with the remaining 600 series motherboards H670, B660, H610, etc. Meanwhile, there will be new news on the much-anticipated Intel Arc Alchemist graphics card, which is now more likely to come first for the mobile version, while the desktop version will be launched later in finding a suitable time.
CES 2022 will take place from January 5 to 8, with a press day on January 3 to 4, and is currently looking like a show format with both online and offline conferences.
Nvidia has yet to provide any details on its participation at CES 2022, though it’s all but certain that the company will also be part of the conference with the launch of its RTX 30 Ti for notebooks and the new RTX 3090 Ti for desktops. There is also a possibility that the new RTX 3050 will be announced, although this is not yet certain.
