Gigabyte presents a trio of new monitors that focus on games. The three models are the Gigabyte G27F, G27QC, and G32QC. The monitors were presented at the CES 2020 and belong to the Aorus proprietary brand.
Gigabyte announces the game monitors G27F, G27QC, and G32QC
The first of these is the entry-level G27F, a 27-inch Full-HD device that can deliver a refresh rate of 144Hz, which is within parameters when it comes to games in this resolution, although models with up to 240Hz are now being seen. The display covers 120% of the sRGB color space, supports AMD FreeSync and has already been certified by Nvidia as compatible with G-Sync.
The next model is the Gigabyte G27QC, which is equipped with a 27-inch screen with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440). This model increases the refresh rate by 165 Hz and is certified FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatible. It also covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color space, not bad for a monitor designed for gaming.
The trio is completed with the G32QC Gigabyte monitor. This device is similar to the G27QC, but increases the size to 32 inches and offers support for FreeSync Premium Pro, as it has the ability to display HDR content (HDR400), which is welcome, although it is the lowest of the HDR levels.
Gigabyte didn’t reveal much more about these new monitors. Not even the type of panel was given for any of the displays, which is a bit strange. We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what prices and what type of display they use, but they don’t look bad at all at a price that fits.
