Anticipated Features and Exclusivity

Although specific details about the functionalities of this tool for The Witcher 3 have not been provided yet, CD Projekt RED has committed to sharing detailed information starting from the next year. This editor will complement the modding options that the community has been creating since 2015.

In a subsequent statement, The Witcher’s official Twitter account confirmed that the new tool will not be available for consoles. Mod creation and projects will remain exclusive to PC.

The announcement follows the recent game update that enhanced graphics and introduced Ray Tracing support for next-generation consoles and PCs. Despite performance issues, CD Projekt RED has addressed the most critical ones through updates.
