Biostar presents the Racing X570GT Micro-ATX motherboard for Ryzen

Biostar today introduced the Racing X570GT motherboard in compact Micro-ATX format. This is the fourth-generation motherboard based on Racing and aimed at users who don’t want to compromise their gaming experience, and overclockers looking for an extra performance boost, but in a smaller motherboard format. The motherboard is compatible with AMD’s third-generation Ryzen processors, supports PCIe 4.0 and has four DIMM slots with DDR4-4000+ speeds, all in micro-ATX size.

The X570GT follows Biostar’s racing aesthetic with the grey flash pattern that winds through the black PCB with all black DIMM, power, PCIe and SATA connectors. The rear I/O cover is made of aluminum and serves as EMC protection for the rear I/O. The chipset heat sink has a similar design to the ATX motherboard X570GT8.

A noteworthy detail is that there are no heat sinks in the VRM. It also has fewer VRMs than the ATX version. This probably won’t make it recommendable to avoid overloading. The primary PCIe slot is reinforced with iron slot protection and is the only element that is not black on the board along with RGB LEDs. There are two LED heads (12V / 5V) for additional color fixation if needed.

Included are four 6 Gbps SATA3 ports (oriented vertically down), a single PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot, the Realtek RTL8111H network and the Realtek ALC887 midrange codec for audio. USB support includes six USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (5 Gbps) with four ports on the back, plus a head for the panel, and six USB 2.0 ports (two on the back and two more internal heads). USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports are missing.

If you are using an APU with built-in video, an HDMI and VGA connector on the back provides video output. Biostar has not yet announced the price or launch date, but we hope to see it on the market soon.
