B360MHD Pro and H310MHD Pro, the entry level Biostar for Coffee Lake

Two new BIOSTAR motherboards, the B360MHD Pro and H310MHD Pro, are now available. For the B360 and H310 chipsets, they target the office and entertainment PC market.

This B360MHD Pro is in Micro-ATX format. It supports 8th generation Core processors and supports DDR4-2666MHz. A single PCIe 3.0 X16 slot provides graphics card usage while USB 3.1 Gen 1 is present. Its rear connector offers VGA and DVI-D video outputs, one HDMI 1.4 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two PS2 ports and three audio ports.

Also in Micro-ATX format, the H310MHD Pro features an LGA 1151 socket compatible with Coffee Lake processors. It supports DDR4-2666MHz, and a 3.0 x16 PCIe slot is present. Its rear connector offers VGA, DVI-D, HDMI 1.4, one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two PS2 ports and three audio ports.

Both Biostar underlines the presence of a heat sink with a “Nano Carbon” coating that would offer improved heat dissipation performance compared to a conventional aluminium solution. Finally, the name Pro refers to several things including Tough Power Enhanced to ensure certain longevity to the motherboard, the PRO series with Tough Power Enhanced can support a massive electrical current and provide a complete power output without additional energy loss.
