According to new reports from China, shipments of Nvidia’s RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti to partners will be reduced in September, before returning to normal availability at the end of October. The reason? Temporary closures at some factories due to new COVID 19 outbreaks.
It is estimated that shipments of these two models will drop by 50%, and other RTX 3000 series models will also see minor cuts, but not as severe, so they shouldn’t have too much of an impact on the market. This decrease in shipments, combined with the recent revival in mining, could cause prices to continue to rise, a trend we’ve seen in recent weeks that will likely continue for a few more months.
