Atom, a small 4G smartphone that triumphs at Kickstarter

Despite the enormous amount of products seeking funding on crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo, only a few are able to really stand out and raise huge amounts of money. One such product is Atom, a rugged smartphone designed for all kinds of everyday activities and sports that boast the world’s smallest.

The mobile device we’re talking about this time has been designed by the creators of Nelly, a 4G mini smartphone we talked about a little over a year ago. In the case of Atom, this is a device that has some of the most interesting features. In addition to being water, dust and shock resistant (IP68 certified), the device features an eight-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and NFC technology.

But without a doubt, what stands out most about this small terminal is its small size. Specifically, the device measures 86x45x18mm and weighs only 108 grams, making it ideal for carrying even the smallest pockets (the screen is 2.45 inches). As for the rest of Atom’s features, the smartphone features a fingerprint reader, 4G connectivity, a 16-megapixel external camera and an 8-megapixel front panel. Finally, we highlight that this is a Dual SIM phone.

Everything seems to indicate that mobile device users would be delighted to buy such a mobile phone, especially considering that Atom has already raised nearly a million dollars. Available starting in October, Atom will be sold for an official price of $300. We will now leave you with the presentation video:
