The specifications of the upcoming ASUS Zenbook 14 is filtered, a notebook equipped with the Ryzen 7 4700U and an NVIDIA MX350.
We continue with the leaks related to “Renoir”. In this case, here we present the next ultra-light notebook from ASUS, the Zenbook 14, which will be equipped with the latest AMD and NVIDA low-power GPU, the MX350. This is what we have to report.
ASUS Zenbook 14 UX434IQ: Wolf in sheep’s clothing
We can say it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This ASUS Zenbook 14 is powered by a Ryzen 7 4700U, a 512MB NVIDIA MX350, 16GB LPDDR4x 4266MHz RAM and 1TB NVMe from Samsung. We know all these thanks to the Twitter user @_rogame, known for filtering many advances.
This way, it doesn’t look like a cheap, lightweight computer, but follows the line of the Zenbook range: low consumption and high performance. It’s true that the MX350 can discourage many, but think that it’s a team not designed to play but to cope with a tough load.
In my opinion, I’m fascinated by how LPDDR4x memory works, which says quite a lot. We’ve already informed you that this memory must be treated with respect, as we saw in the 3DMark benchmarks. Its performance isn’t bad at all, so it can be a great option for reducing RAM consumption without sacrificing much performance. On the other hand, LPDDR4x memory is not cheap.
Some people may prefer the AMD Vega iGPU over this NVIDIA. However, the MX350 is a bit more powerful than the “Renoir” GPU, which might be the reason.
We don’t know any details about the screen this notebook will have, but everything suggests that its strength will be its autonomy.
