The new ASUS TUF A15 and A17 gaming laptops are equipped with the latest Ryzen 4000 mobile CPUs, which are reported to deliver impressive performance despite low power consumption. Together with Nvidia GPUs, the notebooks are designed to provide smooth gaming on the go.
Both models have one of the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors. The most powerful configuration is the Ryzen 9 4900-H. Customers can choose between the GTX 1650 Ti, 1660 Ti/TI, and an RTX 2060 GPU for the A15. The Full-HD display offers a refresh rate of 144 Hz. In addition, there are up to 32 GB of RAM and an NVME SSD with up to 1 TB. With a 90-watt-hour battery and up to 12.3 hours of video playback time, the notebook can also be used on the road for navigation or work. The MIL-STD-810H certification certifies that both laptops must be resistant to small drops, humidity, and extreme temperatures.
A17 is available with a maximum of Ryzen 7 4800H in combination with a 1660TI. The memory can also be expanded to 32 GB. In addition to the SSD, the larger form factor also has room for an additional 1 TB hard disk. The largest model also has a 90-watt-hour battery and therefore offers a life of up to 11.6 hours according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Both notebooks are available in two different designs. In the color Fortress Grey, the devices are slightly more discreet and therefore also suitable for more professional environments. In contrast, Bonfire Black has a more striking appearance. They also have a nanotechnology screen and therefore offer particularly slim display edges. The DTS:X Ultra technology offers 1.8 times more sound than the previous generation through two speakers with four cuts and a virtual 7.1 surround sound through headphones.
