A Croatian website released a video showing two new Z390 motherboards that Asus will present shortly. These are the STRIX Z390-I and the PRIME Z390-A. That’ s the first look of the Asus Z390s that have never been seen before.

First, let’s look at the models filtered by Asus, the ROG STRIX Z390-I in Mini ITX format. This board has a large rear port panel with a large dissipator for the VRM area and even for the M.2 jack ( this type of storage media tends to get very hot and reduce its performance). The board has an additional M.2 connector on the back (so it supports a total of two M.2 devices).

The PRIME Z390-A model has also been filtered out of Asus, in this case in standard ATX format. Unlike its predecessor, this motherboard series is intended for users who are less demanding in terms of functionality and performance ( keep in mind that the ROG STRIX series is the manufacturer’s top class, while the PRIME family is the entry level), but you can still see that it has three PCI Express 3.0 x16 sockets and two PCIe x1 and two M.2 sockets.

The first of these is the STRIX Z390-I, which is an ITX model fully equipped with covers as well as fully equipped to take advantage of the new Intel models.

And then there’s the PRIME line’s Z390-A, targeted at more general users than gamers. It is an economic model aimed at those looking for the latest technologies without worrying about the best audio or Internet connection.

Unfortunately, that video has gone away already, so we have used the recordings made by Videocardz.

According to rumors, these motherboards will arrive in late September or early October. At the same time, the new Intel Core 9000 series will come onto the market. These include the i9-9900K, i7-9700K, and i5-9600K models. The remaining models will arrive in the first quarter of 2019.
