ASUS ROG Phone Specifications

The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) and Garena announced details about the upcoming ROG Phone. It is a 6-inch smartphone adapted to the needs of the player, where it puts the highest performance in the foreground. Its main differentiator is the cooling system with the steam chamber for 3D smartphones and the ROG Delta headphones for the best sound.

The ROG Phone is a powerful smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and the fastest 2.96 GHz Octa-Core processor. At the same time, it features a game optimized Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. This is incredibly powerful hardware for a smartphone, accompanied by its unique GameCool steam chamber cooling system with the removable AeroActive cooler. At the same time, the AMOLED display combines 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time with excellent HDR graphics in a lightweight, ultra-compact design with side connectors and programmable AirTriggers controls.

The ROG Phone also works with 8 GB RAM and has 512 GB memory. Thanks to its cooling system, this powerful hardware allows performance to be sustained over time, which makes it at least 50% faster than a standard smartphone CPU and with maximum clock rates that last 5 times longer. In terms of connectivity, it uses Cat 16 LTE and the latest 80 Gigabit 802.11ad Wi-Fi class. Even more interesting, the X-Mode releases the entire background RAM with a single keystroke to maximize performance.

The ROG phone also has several accessories that expand its capability and versatility. For example, the TwinView Dock turns it into a dual-screen game and broadcast console by adding a 6-inch (2160 x 1080) AMOLED auxiliary screen and four front speakers. Physical buttons are also added: there are two additional physical shooting buttons, two haptic motors with physical force feedback and an improved cooling system, and a large 6000 mAh battery pack. On the other hand, the Mobile Desktop Dock allows you to connect your phone to an external monitor, mouse and 4K UHD keyboard. Finally, Gamevice and the WiGig Dock allow the smartphone to be used as a portable console with a complete inventory of physical game controls including two analog joysticks, left and right trigger and shock absorbers, a D-pad and A, B, X, Y and L3, R3 keys.
