The third mouse in the Gladius saga does without the DPI Target button and is designed to fit any hand size and grip type.
The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ROG Gladius II Origin optical mouse, the third incarnation of the Gladius saga. Unlike the Gladius II model, the new Gladius II Origin dispenses with the DPI Target button, an alternative design that is better suited to different grip types and hand sizes.
Excellent ergonomics and performance
The ROG Gladius II Origin offers high-end comfort and performance. It is equipped with the renowned Pixart PMW3360, a 12,000 DPI sensor that transports every movement of the mouse to the screen with absolute precision. To better adapt to any hand size and grip type, the new Gladius II Origin removes the DPI Target button. Rubber side panels decorated with a Mayan-inspired pattern offer a perfect grip during marathon play.
Unique ROG design for comfortable switch changes
The ROG Gladius II Origin incorporates a unique ROG design that allows you to change switches in a flash. This way, users can play with the click resistance they prefer and use the mouse for much longer since replacing them when they wear out is very easy. The Gladius II Origin is factory equipped with Omron® switches that last more than 50 million clicks and the second pair of Omron switches with a different feel.
The main buttons on the ROG Gladius II Origin are separated from the chassis, a design that requires less activation force, responds faster and offers superior control. At the same time, the DPI button allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to fly, and the scroll wheel with Alps encoder provides immediate action.
ASUS Aura Sync and ROG Armoury
The ROG Gladius II Origin includes three lighting zones that can be customized with different colors and effects. Also, thanks to Aura Sync, it is also possible to synchronize your lighting with other compatible products. The ROG Armoury interface includes the lighting settings, performance parameters and other statistics needed to analyze the games.
Detachable cable
The ROG Gladius II Origin comes with two types of detachable cables and a ROG sleeve to protect it during transport. This way, when users go anywhere, they can leave a cable connected to their home computer and take the one they keep with them in the case.
