ASUS has extended its power supply series ROG Strix with a new 850 Watt model. So far the series was powered by a 750 W model.
ROG Strix 850W is available in a new White Edition version, where the color scheme consists mainly of white and silver. Matte white with silver accents forms the power supply body, AxialTech fan, and cables. Beneath the case, the ROG Strix 850 W features a single-track + 12V design with a nominal efficiency of 80 Plus Gold, LLC full-bridge resonant converter, synchronous rectifier, and DC/DC circuitry. Connectors Include one 24-pin ATX, two 4 + 4 pin EPS, six 6 + 2 pin PCIe, ten SATA, and three Molex.
ASUS will probably extend the White Edition treatment to other models of the ROG Strix-G PSU series.
The certification of this PSU is 80 PLUS GOLD, the price has not yet been announced by the company.
