ASUS has announced a new product line inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the expected Activision shooter that will officially premiere on October 12. The Taiwanese company offers a series of game products from the ROG family in collaboration with Activion and Intel, which have been aesthetically redesigned to be “in the spotlight” with the new game.
It starts with the ROG Strix GL12 Black Ops 4 Edition gaming desktop, a compact tower PC with aggressive design and support for Aura Sync lighting technology. Technically there aren’t many differences to the standard version of the ASUS GL12, however, in this version the use of an Intel Core i7-8700K processor paired with a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is outstanding.
Black Ops 4 Specifications
The same applies to the ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q gaming monitor, which has a frame rate of 240 Hz and is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync technology. The Swift PG258Q and GL12 can be combined with a new range of gaming devices including the backlit mechanical keyboard ROG Strix Flare, the mouse ROG Gladius II Origin 12000 DPI and the large mousepad ROG Strix Edge.
No information was provided by ASUS about price and availability on the market, but in the press release, we read that there is also a version of the new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and the high-end ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 router. The only product available in advance on the company’s website is the ROG Strix GL12 Black Ops 4 Edition, which costs $2599.99.
