ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 motherboard caught at Videocardz. At the moment it is not known when Intel will launch their new Z390 series with the 9000 series processors, but according to the latest rumors, they should debut in October. What so ever, Intel 9th generation processors will soon be available on the market, and the motherboard game for these processors is on. Almost all hardware giants are putting their masterpieces for these processors on the market.
Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 is the new motherboard from ASRock. That is a product developed for Intel Core processors of the ninth generation and will be launched at the beginning of October. The first images of the new ASRock card come from videocardz and confirm that it is a high-end product aimed at those looking for the best in quality, expansion capacity and performance.
The ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 will use the new Intel Z390 chipset, an update of the current Z370, optimized for better support of the new processors and especially the high frequencies of the Octa-Core Core i7-9700K and Core i9-9900K (especially in overclocking). However, we remind you that the ninth generation Intel Core CPUs will also be compatible with the previous generation motherboards (300 series) after the BIOS update.
Back to the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9, this is a card that supports NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFire configurations, with 3 reinforced PCIe x16 slots and 3 M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs. Also on board are 4 slots for DDR4 RAM (+4000 MHz), three network cards (one 10Gbps), native USB 3.1, USB Type-C and WiFi AC.
The arrival of the Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 also confirms that ASRock will abandon the Fatal1ty brand in favor of Phantom. Currently, the top model ASRock Z370, Fatal1ty Z370 Professional Gaming i7, is around 260 euros, the Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 will certainly be more expensive.
