ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming & X399 Taichi Motherboards for AMD

ASRock has released two new motherboards: ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming & X399 Taichi. These are for the new HEDT x399 platform AMD Ryzen Threadripper. These are the new ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming and the X399 Taichi, both with the new Socket TR4 that accompanies the platform with the chipset X399 of high range as its name indicates.

ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming

The new ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming will be one of the high-end solutions for the platform by ASRock. It has an 11-phase design accompanied by a 10 Gigabit AQUANTIA network card and 802.11ac WiFi.

Intel Core i9 7960X Knockout AMD Threadripper 1950X in Geekbench 4

The expansion slots correspond to 4x PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, 8 DDR4 DIMM slots up to 128GB and 3600MHz +, 8x SATA III 6Gbps, 3x Ultra M.2 and 1x U.2 of 32Gbps. The audio will be run by CODEC ALC 1220 along with Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 3 software.

The new ASRock X399 Taichi features the same 11-phase power supply. And it is very similar to the previous model, except for the lack of the 10Gbps network card. Expansion slots correspond to 4x PCI-Express 3.0 x16, 8 DDR4 DIMM slots up to 128GB and 3600MHz +, 3x Ultra M.2, 1x U.2 as well as support for SLI and CrossFire equally.
