Apple is committed to virtual reality
These glasses from the firm would be able to display both augmented reality and virtual reality content. In addition, they would be a product independent of others of the firm such as the iPhone or Mac. It would also not be necessary to install special cameras in the space where they are to be used. These glasses would be a further step by Apple in its efforts to embrace augmented reality in its products.
In fact, on more than one occasion, Tim Cook himself has stated that he sees a great future in augmented reality. So somehow it should come as no surprise that the company is betting on creating its own glasses in this sense.
At the moment, no details are known about these glasses from the American company. We will have to wait a while to learn more about them if Apple finally decides to launch them on the market. But it certainly seems like a logical step for Cupertino’s company.
